Anyone can receive support at home!
However, how you access it will vary based on your individual needs and circumstances; the level of support you need; and how you choose to pay for it.
There are several ways to fund your in-home care services, and they will provide varying levels of care, ranging from basic help with cleaning and grocery shopping to in-home support for dementia and other complex health conditions.
Carinity can support you with any of these options:
Government-subsidised
- Low-level needs on an outgoing basis
- Short-term support after injury or illness
- Interim support while waiting for Support at Home funding to be assigned
Government-subsidised
- Basic to higher needs
- Coordinated ongoing services
- Funded short-term programs such as restorative care, end-of-life & assistive supports & home modifications
- From 1 November 2025 SAH replaces the Home Care Package HCP and Short-Term Restorative Care programs
Fully self-funded (no subsidy)
- All levels of care - short-term care or ongoing
- Full range of care and support services
Government-subsidised
Carinity also provide support to seniors through the Veterans’ Home Care program.
